J. Dittrich Elektronic temperature measuring systems determine the temperature profile within a gas/solid mixture up to a temperature of 100° C:
Five Pt100 temperature sensors are regularly arranged in a special stainless-steel probe protection tube.
Every temperature sensor contacts the protection tube at one single point respectively, and accurately measures the ambient temperature only there.
Even though stainless steel conducts heat, sufficient space between the individual sensors as well as the special thinness of the stainless-steel case prevent any temperature equalization between the individual measuring points.
The 5 measured values are output via 5 linear current outputs (4-20 mA); they are evaluated and processed further in a device arranged downstream by the user.
