- Semiconductor sensors are less sensitive than pellistors to such catalytic poisons as silicone, lead tetraethyl or heavy metals,
- however, more sensitive to fluctuations in air pressure, relative humidity and ambient temperature.
- They have a longer service life than pellistors; however, their measurements are less accurate.
- Therefore, measuring range of 0-50% LEL.
- Output 4-20 mA.
- Measurable explosive gases and vapors:
Methane (CH4), hydrogen (H2), propane (C3H8), alcohol, benzine; additional hydrocarbons on request.
