Novel infrared measuring system for CO2With an infrared sensor (IR sensor) specifically for carbon dioxide.
The infrared measuring system detects the carbon dioxide content of the ambient air and thus indoor air quality (IAQ) fast and precisely. It contains a novel infrared measuring system functioning basically like a conventional two-beam photometer. However, since material and construction of the sample cell are novel, and the measured signals are evaluated and processed according to a new digital algorithm, the infrared measuring system is light-weight, compact, in normal applications maintenance-free and long-term stable but nevertheless affordable.
The infrared measuring system detects the absolute carbon dioxide content of the ambient air (partial pressure), monitors itself constantly and signals malfunctions of its hard and software. The whole measuring range is linear. | | | | | According to the application, there are different designs:
- a robust design for industrial applications (MF420-IR)
- three designs for monitoring air quality in interior rooms with a ventilation system:
MF420-IR-LC with a 4-20 mA output New! MF420-IR-AL with two independent relay contacts for the direct control of automatic window openers, air conditioning systems and fans. Network-compatible climate guard (MF420-IR-CTF) with digital output (either Ethernet-TCP/IP or Modbus-RTU protocol). Measures not only carbon dioxide concentration but also room temperature and relative humidity - a mobile system for monitoring air quality in rooms wihout a ventilation system:
MF420-IR-Mobile ("air quality signal")
| | | | | New: data logger available nowThe air quality signal MF420-IR-Mobile is now available with an integrated data logger, which will record the measured data every 60 seconds for a time period of one week. The measured data can be read out at any time and can be evaluated at a PC with an easy software. With that, you can analyse the factors influencing the indoor air quality (IAQ) in this special room and take suitable steps against a bad room climate.
