The GMS-H gas indicator system consists of one or two MF12-H gas measuring systems and one self-monitoring limit monitor GWZ-2H.
With the aid of a semiconductor sensor, MF12-H measures the percentage of the LEL reached by methane or propane in the indoor air, and then supplies these measured values to limit monitor GWZ-2H via a special interface.
If the limit value is exceeded, the limit monitor signals this through a relay and, in this way, initiates suitable protective measures through subsequent devices; e.g. cutting off the gas supply with the help of a solenoid valve or preventing igniting sparks by switching off the electric system. |
