The GMS-CO gas indicator system, which has been certified by the German Technical Inspectorate (TÜV) according to VDI 2053, consists of max. 6 carbon-monoxide-specific gas measuring systems MF 420-C and a freely programmable, self-monitoring limit monitor GWZ-S6.
With the help of a specific electrochemical sensor, MF420-C measures how many ppm of carbon monoxide (CO) have been reached in the air of an underground parking garage and forwards these measured values to limit monitor GWZ-S6 via a 4-20 mA interface.
The limit monitor signals when the values exceed or fall below the limit values via 4 relays, thereby initiating a 4-step reaction to an excessive concentration of carbon monoxide.
Then the ventilation can be switched successively to steps 1, 2, 3. Reaction 4 would be the alarm Evacuate underground parking garage.
It is possible to group the measured values of the individual measuring systems.
