Detecting toxic substancesToxic gases must not exceed the lower toxic limit stipulated for places of work. This lower toxic limit value is basically used as the reference value for the alarm thresholds in the gas indicator systems made by J. Dittrich Elektronic. With these devices you can recognize an impending danger of poisoning in time, enabling you to initiate suitable personal protection measures. | | | | | The gas measuring systems MF420-C and MF420-IR determine the concentration of the toxic gas/vapor in the ppm range with the help of specific electrochemical sensors or a specific carbon-dioxide infrared sensor and then supply this measured value to a self-monitoring, freely programmable limit monitor.
- Measurable substances:
Ammonia (NH3), chlorine (Cl2), carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), methane (CH4), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and nitrogen monoxide (NO).
| | | | | The limit monitor continuously displays the measured values. Starting from a certain threshold, it will trigger a max. 4-stage visual and, if necessary, acoustic alarm. The alarm can initiate suitable protective measures, such as automatic ventilation or switching off the system, through downstream devices. Up to max. 6 gas measuring systems can be connected to a limit monitor.
- Programmable limit monitors:
GWZ-S2, GWZ-S4 and GWZ-S6 | | | | | The gas measuring system MF420-C is available in an explosion-proof design on request. EC Type Examination Certificate in accordance with Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX100a) with certificate:

| | | | | Carbon monoxide monitoring in underground parking garagesGMS-CO, a special gas indicator system (certified by the German Technical Inspectorate, TÜV), is available for monitoring the concentration of carbon monoxide in underground parking garages. This system comprises 6 CO-specific gas measuring systems MF420-C and a limit monitor GWZ-S6. | | | | | Low-cost infrared measuring system for CO2J. Dittrich Elektronic developed MF420-IR - a new type of infrared measuring system - for monitoring the concentration of carbon dioxide. It measures significantly quicker, more accurately and at less cost than conventional infrared systems. |
